Proxima appoints Vinny Patel as Commercial Director

LONDON, UK – 19 January 2011. Proxima, Europe’s largest procurement outsourcing provider, today announced the latest addition to its leadership team with the appointment of Vinny Patel as Commercial Director. In this newly created position, Vinny will be responsible for continuing Proxima’s growth, leading a highly specialised and experienced team in developing procurement solutions for new and existing clients.
Prior to joining Proxima, Vinny spent 20 years in procurement services and outsourcing, most recently at Accenture and prior to that PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He was a Partner at Accenture with sales responsibilities including procurement outsourcing. Vinny was instrumental in developing and delivering procurement outsourcing solutions across a wide range of industry sectors.
Announcing the appointment, Proxima CEO Matthew Eatough said: "Vinny brings a wealth of experience across all areas of procurement and associated processes which will be highly valuable to us in defining more innovative solutions for our clients’ requirements."
